Buffalo more than likely won't trade either one of Benson or Savoie since they already have skilled chemistry. Krebs also probably won't be moved. Not saying that the trade is bad, just not ideal for the Sabres currently.

Now add a top 5 defensive prospect in the league and a 1st round lottery pick from one of the worst teams in the league to Mathews and it's a lot easier to swallow for a fan base.
