Realistically…..Logan Thompson all by himself, will cost a 2024 first round pick, and a top prospect, probably a Rosen, Ostlund etc… his cap hit alone gives him
Immense value and he has two years of term.

That is terrible value for Vegas, why would they make that trade? Spare parts for their reigning conn smythe trophy winner and 25 year old goalie signed for 2 more years at 775K? Make it make sense

This is a copy and paste from my response to another ACGM trying to get a pick for their trash goaltender. Simply swap in Comrie for Allen...

"Mrazek and Soderblom are the tandem heading into the season for better or worse. Kyle Davidson has already said this is the plan. Is Allen better? Yeah probably but that would mean burying someone (Soderblom?) in Rockford taking playing time from Stauber and Comesso. When Mrazek goes down (and he will) Stauber becomes the #2 unless he plays better than Soderblom. The Hawks will add a depth goalie for Rockford (Dylan Wells maybe) before adding an NHL goalie."
