You traded for a C to fix the problem at C then put him on the wing anyway?

I said it on the last time this trade was proposed: it makes a lot of sense for both sides and for both players. I like it.

Just out of curiosity what are your thoughts on Hampus Lindholm for Kent Johnson

There aren't a lot of players Jackets fans would be happy trading away Kent Johnson for right now. Hampus Lindholm definitely isn't one of them. Having Werenski and Provorov going into this year and then Mateychuk and Svozil on the horizon would make this a real head scratcher of a move considering how few legitimate top 6 options the team has. Kent Johnson projects to be a very good top 6 player so it would be trading away a position of need for a position of strength. Not to mention they would get a player that's 9 years older as well.

As a part-time Ducks fan, I like Lindholm but that would be a truly dreadful trade for Columbus.
