Again, I never proclaimed this roster to be a cup contender, they're obviously not that, but there is most definitely enough depth on the roster for this team to compete for a wild card spot minimum. The only real question mark outside of the injury variable, which all teams face, is backup goaltending, but the club has multiple options internally who could fight for that spot, so it's highly unlikely to sink the team's season by itself. I'm not saying playoffs are a guarantee either, but they're most certainly not a lost cause before the season has even begun.
