Detroit has a #1 defenceman. Hanifin would be #2 and since we likely don't break up Walman and Seider he would end up being a second pairing guy. We are not giving up Raymond for a player that we have 15 players that play that position within the organization. A few with the potential of being superior to Hanifin.

Raymond would not and should not be for sale. Under almost any circumstance. It would take something crazy for Detroit to move Raymond.

Detroit has more than enough pieces to make a reasonable trade offer for Hanfin, that does not involve Raymond.

Wings can not score, Perron has one year left and Wings have several LHD, so why would they trade for a player they do not need and hurt a position of need. Not going to happen, sorry

Detroit already has 12 LHD within the organization, Plus like 10 more in reserve. How many times do we need to say that we don't need LHD. Plus if we move Raymond. It's going to be for a player much better than Hanifin. Like a legit 1C
