Anderson Gallagher Hoffman Dvorak Allen Caufield Savard Wideman Price Matheson and then the questionable contracts like Newhook Monahan and Evans... There's a lot of guys here whereas the Leafs have:
Tavares Reaves Marner Brodie Murray Muzzin... Not as much

Wideman ... you have zero credibility

The fact that somehow, Wideman still has a contract in the league... especially because he likes to take Ubers, is mind-boggling

It's been a couple years, get over it. He is a good friend in the locker room, all the kids likes him

So what kind of message are you sending to the kids? Or the young Habs fans? It's okay to talk s**t about your coaches and teammates? And it's not even like he's an impactful player on the ice... he barely makes a terrible Canadiens roster as the 7th guy

You don't disrespect YOUR OWN F******G COACH AND TEAM... that's rule number 1 in not even just hockey, but sports in general. I'm assuming you play sport here, but if you were to get caught on tape calling your teammates and coaches, would you or would you not have your a*s sat on the bench/suspended or have been kicked off the team? The answer is yes

With Newhook currently on a pro-rated pace of 46pts per season, kind of hard to argue now that this isn't a steal of a contract. Especially with the cap going up.

Still a bit of a steep price (1st + 2nd) to pay for a middle 6 C/LW, but at $2.9mil aav until 2027. The value is there.
