If Roy and the Kings seem unlikely to get an extension this might be a maybe.

He's cheap, young, and has a contract for three more years. Plus a lot of teams are interested in him. So I think Columbus will want a 1st.

Why wouldn't the Leafs rather keep Lilly? Also, Nylander isn't the one they should be trying to sign, it's Matthews so IDK why anyone is all to fussed about Nylander rn

Peeke is bigger and plays more physical, which Treliving likes. Ditto for Roy. I wouldn't trade Liljegren for anyone because he is a good defenceman. Roy is also still under 30 and could be re-signed.

More realistic price for Peeke is a 2nd, but since Toronto doesn't have one of those any time soon, I see why you made the deal with this parameters. Personally, I'd like to see Hildeby and a 3rd for Peeke; Columbus could use more good goalie prospects in the pipeline.

Need a goalie or not, Ducks are gonna need more than a couple 3rd's. Whole league knows he needs moved. Leafs are gonna have to pay up.

Yeah I know, he's not the first guy I would move for an upgrade on D because the potential is still there, but heading into next season this team is better with Roy in it over Liljegren. And will Liljegren even get top 4 minutes? Keefe scratched him at times last season.

Brodie isn't a cap dump, he's a safety blanket for Holl. Red Wings will give a 1st for him come December after two months of Holl.
