Description

Big trades are best made near the deadline for a bigger return. There is no rush to move players with expiring contracts. The only trade we need to make before September is to move Vladar to make room for Wolf.

Honzek and Lipinski are eligible for an extra year of ELC status if they’re signed before the end of 2023 due to the “double slide” rule.

If there's an appetite to insulate one of Zary/Coronato for another season, I suspect the Blackhawks would eagerly do something around Blackwell and a mid-pick for Vladar.

Cheaper option so fair enough. He isn’t a better goalie but if it’s money you are concerned about I get that.

Heh. Dude. Vladar had a couple seasons in the NHL and been absolutely nothing to write home about. Replacement level. Hofer is a promising prospect who has already performed better in hisbfirstv7bNHL starts. I think we'd stick with our guy, money or not.
