hes a great maybe breakout candidate. it kinda work with Dach, Suz and Caufield still need a winger. habs still rebuilding. he could be a good fit

It is right now, and it doesn't hurt to have a 3rd line LW or RW that has he ability to score 20 goals and 40-50 pts if he gets enough ice time under a new coach and only has a cap hit of maybe $2.5m and is only 21 years old. He also gets to continue to grow under guys like Kreider, Panarin and now Wheeler. Rangers have ZERO reasons to trade him.

and goodrow is a terrible overpay for a free agent .. he plays in the bottom six and makes far too much money.. alot like Armia.. there is no way montreal trades for another contract like Armia.... And laf is a fan thing and not a management thing.. this wont happen.. NYR are not ready to give up on him. As for hoffman no picks will be sent out he will be traded with retained money or he goes to laval and comes up when injuries strike or young players struggle... no point in giving up assets when we dont need his cap space this year we only need his spot in the lineup... so he can good to laval and sit and be the extra forward
