CHI is pretty high on Savoie. I don't think they do that.

First of all, Jarvis and Nadeau are off the table. Second of all, the Canes have no interest in Miller whatsoever, and certainly not without his AAV being at about 4mil. Besides, the Canes wouldn’t take him on without having major incentives included.

a 6000000 cap dump is worth more than a mid 2nd and certainly worth more than a 7th

I dont think Cap Hit is much of a concern to Carolina, they have plenty of space. Miller isnt a cap dump in this case, they are moving him to a win now team that would benefit from a 100pt, point-per-game player.

so they will just ask for him? there are multiple reports of a deal on the table, I can assure you that would require something in return...

I am confused by your comment, however I will agree I think? The Canucks would most likely require adding a pick, possibly a 3rd round pick for the 7th in return.

Um I meant the josh Bailey dump required mid 2nd round pick and he had a 5x1 so 6 mil would require a better pick for him to be dumped to the sharks like . Sharks get a 2nd 3rd and Meyers, but we definitely wouldn't give up assets for him. You'll get future considerations back or if you want any of our players the pick would just have to be better

Hawks decline. They aren't moving Savoie. His D+1 season was really good. He looks like a keeper. Hawks might still have an interest in Garland, but Vancouver isn't getting anything of value back for him from the Hawks.

Not a concern this year, needs to be managed carefully or you end up like the Canucks. Canes have no interest in the player, especially when that contract is going to age like sour milk. If nucks retain on him maybe canes shoot over a first and a prospect. Trade protection just kicked in tho so good luck with that contract!
