We should be in on Tanev in my opinion, but obviously not at this price. Future second and fourth or something like that. He would be a great partner for Simon.

Olofsson for Zadorov, Vladar and '25 6th should be accepted by Buffalo.
IMO Buffalo would rather have Tanev.
There could be a true hockey trade in the making there.

COL isn’t doing that trade without retention. Sakic and McF are angling for somebody but imo it’s somebody with term.

Yeah there could be retention for sure, just thought this would work as a basis considering what they got for newhook and backlunds defensive ability

Pens are probably saying no. I could see them going for just Hanifin, but Dubas said he's not giving up assets (1st rounders + Pickering) unless it's a young player currently in the NHL so to me coleman is out. I think they'd like to have Hanifin for the right price and he supposedly wants to play in the US for his next contract so sure makes sense.
