That’s the price for him, late first or the equivalent. Hawks don’t need to move him cause he is a good veteran presence and will practically be the captain next year. It will take an overpay to get him

Then he can stay, overpaying for a guy that really isn't that good and is definitely very over priced is nonsense

He isn't a really good defensive defenceman, he's just the best at it on a blueline where no one was good at it. McCabe was better and he's not that good.

McCabe is definitely better and he is only worthwhile at 2 million. Murphy is overpaid
