Description

Besides getting the 50% retained on Markstrom part inputted incorrectly. I do wonder at what retaining% Yzerman concedes value on Markstrom. I figure 33% plus.

The rest is fooling around. Not realistic but I like them all as wins. Especially getting a premium asset like #9 where Flames can land Danielson or Dvorsky and gamble on But or Simashev at 16.

I would much rather the Blues take on Hayes heavily retained for minimal assets than pay for some reason pick 25 and next years 2nd for Backlund. I don’t think Hayes is a better player. But the Blues certainly aren’t a Backlund away from being competitive.

Idk about bust. He was a late first rounder who turned into a low end NHLer, that just sounds like meeting expectations. He's certainly nothing special and not worth that contract, but based on his draft position I'd usually only really expect a 3rd line center anyway

Bortuzzo is making 950,000 how is that a cap dump hes worth something. Also a late first in this draft is very good
