Nylander>Horvat by a ton... and Horvat got a 1st, A+ tier prospect (that gets replaced by a young player) and a young player... adding a second means that the team is not paying a lot more for Nylander compared to Horvat... especially since the 1st isn't going to be a 2023 one... Tomasino doesn't make top 9... especially since the Leafs have cap space to spend on a UFA and might have more if they were to trade Nylander
Lmao. I think everything I need to know comes from you thinking Raty is an A+ prospect.. he’s no where close to that. A+ is Bedard level, not a mediocre guy with middle 6 potential.
Tomasino is better than Raty. Fabbro would be equal to Beauvillier because both were guys that could use a change of scenery. & then as I said a 1st would be necessary. So it’s pretty good as is.
You mighta argue that Nylander is better than Horvat “by a ton” but that couldn’t be more wrong. Offensively, absolutely the advantage is to Nylander. But defensively, physically, leadership, and positional value are all in Horvat’s favour. If Nylander isn’t scoring then he’s not doing much else for the team - doesn’t forecheck or play defence.
Tomasino and Fabbro can help now and provide cap space for another addition in free agency. It’s a very good deal. & asks like yours show exactly that you’re a fan and nothing more. There’s no logic or reasoning behind your evaluation other than pure bias.
