Not trading the Calgary pick which can be between 2-10 OA.. PLD is coming and cheaper than this, much cheaper. LA has no cap. The only teams that can take him are teams like Montreal or San Jose. The Florida pick, a cap dump and mid prospect is the price.

Sebastian Cossa is unavailable, We sure as hell aren't trading both Cossa and Husso for an aging Connor Hellebuyck who doesn't fit our rebuild time line. Plus once again we're trying to get bigger and stronger up front. So trading our 6'6" LW/C in Michael Rasmussen is out of the question. Hellebuyck wants to win a cup now. Obviously not happening in hometown Detroit anytime soon.
