Pens have $15,233,158 for next season if the cap does go up by 4 million because of the Guentzel signing
and for the trades made maybe the pens have to add more and im not sure if the Devils will or will not qualify Blackwood only reason is I don't think he has trade value but I could be wrong but he has been bad plus gets hurt a lot. also the Granlund trade that can be any team willing to just eat his cap without us giving an arm and a leg to get rid of him and yes he played bad here but in Nashville he was good he had 36 points in 58 games there so maybe he can bounce back with a rebuilding team that has cap. Rutta trade I think we can get something for him is good at D but gets hurt a bit and I find he doesn't fit this roster and the reason to the Canes like it doesn't have to be there could be anywhere where we can get value for him but the canes do have a bunch of cap for this coming season. DeSmith Islanders need a backup and DeSmith is a backup and is kind of good and plus being in New York he will not have to play all the games hopefully.
