I am a little shocked that you put Nylander in there (mostly bc he scored 40 and, as a rental, has a cap hit of 6.9 mill). Also, a little surprised you didn't include Josh Anderson from MTL as Habs fans have been sending him for 1st+ everywhere

Shhhh, quiet, MTL fans may include the Avs in those Anderson for two 1sts trades lol. Nylander cant be extended and cost to acquire is going to be too high for his fit with the Avs.

Girard+ filler(if they had a Girard replacement and were forced to trade him due to Byram n Toews extentions). I don't want to get into it because I come off as a Nylander hater but, his style of play does not fit with Bednar and I can see him getting in the dog house easily and I don't know if an injured Landy can protect him from Mack's "coaching".

Idk Couture, Hayes, and Kuznetsov seem plausible depending on retention. Couture though is probably least likely being that he's 34, has 4 years left, and SJ is going to have to retain on Karlsson and are already retaining on Burns.

He very much is. One thing about Bednar is he rewards tough(mindset) try hards and benches guys who float, avoid going to the tough areas and give up the puck to avoid contact.

I wish Keefe was a little tougher... but if the Leafs had things go my way, they'd have very team in the league block their number

I agree and think they'd thrive off of it, whether they know they will initially or not. Something in between Keefe and Babcock. Just have to be communicative, encouraging and firm. Bednar chucking knuckles in the coast for how ever many years helps with the initial respect aspect though. It's sad that a lack of backbone in dealing with your stars is a top down issue. I hope Keefe learns and stays.

More than anything Meet was being clever which he usually is incorporating a Twisted Sister song/lyric in a title but maybe he and me are just showing our age😂😂
