Sens one could definitely up the retention, or remove pieces. I'm a VGK fan anyway lol. It would be a three-way so some pieces would change hands a bit more anyway.

Sorry, I missed that deal and didn't look to see where Myers was going since I knew Martinez was coming from the Stanley Cup winners, who would seem unlikely candidates to give up two prospects, a first and a second to add a big-ticket forward to a team which did pretty well this time around.

It would be a future proofing move for VGK. Open a D spot for Miromanov to play, and acquire a 1st line ready, long-term linemate for Eichel.

Sens would rather make that trade directly with Vegas, as opposed to getting EK65 for a massive overpay.

Love EK, but his contract is onerous and will not age well and the Sens have no need for another puck mover.
