Your value would probably get Scott Laughton not Alex Debrincat

you got Debrincat for a high first, second and third last szn. Considering he's RFA now and has no term, i think a later first and a 2nd/third would be around the right value coming off a down season.

again , thats what laughton is worth. Cat would be moved in a sign and trade for a Beggren/Tomasino type young player and a top 25 pick

No .. we don't need to keep bringing back ex Hawks. adding Kane and DeBrincat doesn't help this current team. all it's going to do is put the Hawks in the 11th-12th place in the Western instead of the 15th/16th that they need to finish to get another top pick.

this probably wouldn't happen even though it would be nice. I don't think its the direction the team wants to go towards Plus the hawks weren't in DeBrincat's trade list
