I just came to the same conclusion about these teams probably both being in too much of a bind to be trade partners. The only two ways I see it happening: Ullmark with some salary retained for a C prospect like Turcotte and a pick, or Swayman for Vilardi straight up. Those are some high-risk maneuvers, but I think those might be the only avenues. As fans, that second trade would be giving up our binkies, so I don't think either team loves it. The first one is intriguing if Boston retains about $2M, but for Boston to retain a second year of Ullmark's salary, that pick would need to be pretty high. There are probably better trades to be had for the Boston side.

I actually like Iafallo and one of Turcotte, Kupari, or Pinelli for both teams. It does require dumping a defenseman
I think BOS and LAK are great potential trade partners, LAK has a surplus of young Centres/Forwards and BOS has a surplus of Goalies
Kings fans seem pretty high on Vilardi, so lets assume hes not available (same with Byfield obviously): Turcote/Pinelli/Lizotte/Kupari/Grundstrom/JAD in that order are intiguing options for BOS
Think its safe to assume Kings would prefer Swayman over Ullmark, but BOS should prefer moving Ullmark over Sway becasue of his cap hit and current peak value
problem is both teams have cap issues, Kings could def fit Ullmark in, but theyd have to make some other moves, now retention on 2 more years of Ullmark would def increase price, I was thinking Turcotte + 2nd for Ullmark or maybe Kings throw in smaller cap hit player to help make money work, Swayman for Vilardi would be risky for both sides and make both fanbases unhappy IMO
