Imagine being so deluded that you actually think 750K TRad even remotely resembles 3.1 million Yamamoto in a hard cap league

Hawk's aren't trading Raddysh for Yamo. That offer really isn't close.

Yamamoto's better, and it's only for 1 season in which Chicago will still be terrible. The Hawks gotta get to the cap floor somehow

Well who can argue with that? If Yamo was better than Raddysh, Oilers would be fielding offers for him, not trying to dump his cap hit.

He's better than Raddysh, nothing to debate there. But the offers and dump thing you can not have any actual knowledge of, so wtf are you talking about?

Hawks sign one UFA for 4-5 million OR take one cap dump in that price range, they can fill out the roster with league minimum salaries and "get to the cap floor somehow". MOST Edm AGM's have Yama ranging from an outright dump with assets attached to at best a neutral value hoping to just make him disappear. Most TRad involved AGM's (even by other teams fans) will have him at a decent positive value. Hawk fans are going to value a 750K 20G/40P player at a late 1st (or we don't move him). Yama is not a 1st round value.

Actual 4-5 million $ UFA's do not just sign on the worst teams in the league. 1-3 million $ UFA's get overpaid by those teams.
Other ACGM's have nothing to do with anything real, and should not be used as actual information. Look at similar past trades, use stat sites, and read reporting on hockey to inform yourself.
Here are Raddysh and Yamamoto's last 3 seasons in the NHL at even strength points, Raddysh vs Yamamoto, and remember Raddysh is a year older and Yamamoto was injured for most of last season.

Good thing for the Hawks who are not good and will be in full tank that there are plenty of 3 million dollar UFA's they can overpay for a year or 2 (and they only "need" ONE OR a cap dump). So we are doing a 3 year comparison with one of the players that has played only a couple NHL seasons (one of which was as a 4th liner on a Cup contender}...how convenient for you. We wouldn't want to compare the players situations of one being in an organization that was deep and winning back to back Cups while the other was in a top heavy organization looking for anyone with a pulse to fill depth roles. Or that one has gotten every opportunity to play with the likes of McDavid and Drai and the other has been on putrid Hawks teams. The fact that Yama was hurt is not an excuse, it is actually the POINT. He is injured multiple times every year and that is not likely to change for a midget playing a man's game. Sorry , but AGM's are a pretty good gauge of value if you throw out the extreme's on both ends of the spectrum and look to what the consensus is between rival fanbases.

Sorry I don't agree with you. Have a nice day and good luck getting that kind of value for Yama as I am pretty confident it will not be from the Hawks.

Cool story, casual ACGM guy that I have never seen on here before the last couple days. I am on here almost every day for the last 4 years. I see everything all the fan bases are trying to do. Yamamoto is a cap dump candidate. The term cap dump is used to describe players that don't have value and teams will have to pay in order to move. It has been established on here for some time that no one is willing to pay for Yamamoto. So if EDM needs that cap space, they will have to pay to move the contract. But nice try getting on that pedestal.

The difference is that yamo has put up those numbers while playing with McDavid and drai while Raddysh has been on one of the worst teams in the league. Not to mention that almost 2.5 million less in salary means a lot in a salary cap league. You can believe whatever you want but in the real world yamo’s value is like a fourth and Raddysh’s is a late first

Real world. 24 year old Kailers bad season with 244 NHL games Yamamoto vs Raddysh 25 year old Taylors best season with 152 . KY had 1 more point in 20 less games
Quit with the McDavid excuse, it's Lazy and dumb. Yamamoto's most common centre was Draisaitl last season. Yams didn't power play so he was only playing with Draisaitl at even strength, and Leon was the 13th highest scoring player at evens. McDavid was 4th.
Yamamoto is far and away a better defensive forward than Raddysh. That's not even close to being debatable, and he had a goal and an assist on the PK last season

Is this website the only place you get information and WTF does the length of time on this site have to do with anything? The term cap dump did not originate here, and has been used to describe a type of trade for many years of good and bad players.
Intelligent people that know and love hockey do not refer to any NHL players as cap dumps.

PS: You ever think someone could have had many profiles over many years on Capfriendly? Don't assume stuff, It makes you dumb

Cool, he wasn’t playing with McDavid he was playing with draisaitl. Same thing still applies, Raddysh was playing with Tyler Johnson and Collin Blackwell the whole year and they put up similar numbers. You’re also conveniently glossing over the money which is the reason why Raddysh is worth so much more than yamo. And if yamo is so much better than Raddysh then how come you are acquiring Raddysh and how come you are giving up a 5th and 6th and only getting back a 7th?

Raddysh's most common linemates last season were Kurashev-Toews/Domi and Johnson-Guttman/Dickinson he did not play with Blackwell for more than 10 minutes. 1 more point in 20 less games is not similar numbers.
I traded for Raddysh and put him on the 3rd line with the Oilers most experienced best defensive centre because Yamamoto makes too much to be a 3rd liner for Edmonton. But, of course 24 year old Kailer makes more than 25 year old Taylor, he's been in the NHL longer. I included the 5th and 6th picks because of the cap savings Chicago would be providing Edmonton and the 7th because Yamamoto's the better more experienced player.

Don't try and lie to support your opinion though please. If you don't actually know about something just don't bring it up.

I haven't been bringing up things like my believed misuse of Yamamoto by the Oilers in not giving him power play minutes and forcing him into situations where he has to be a defensively responsible, puck retriever, and board battling type player. I've watched Yams strip too many of the best Defenseman in the NHL of the puck and feed players for goals to think he's being utilized properly by the Oilers coaches. But you can't understand that unless you watch the Oilers a lot and it's my opinion.

I'll tell you though. Every line combination Evander Kane played on last season was scored on more against than for except when he was with Yamamoto and Draisaitl and Kane-McDavid-Draisaitl was brutal, so was Kane-McDavid-Yamamoto. Which makes me think that the Oilers were using Yamamoto (who had whiplash) to cover for Kane (who got his wrist cut and broke ribs). That's terrible for KY if you think about it.

My hope is the Blackhawks would use KY properly like they did Debrincat.

It's pretty funny how NO ONE AGREES WITH YOU on here or anywhere else, and you turned a civil debate into a condescending argument and name calling, and after all of that you still spout your narrative like it is the truth and think everyone else is dumb. Good luck with that, bud... That's a constructive way to speak to other people, create consensus, and hammer out a deal that considers all sides. I'm surprised you aren't a real GM.

Me being able to explain myself and show factual information is not condescending, saying things like "Cool story, casual ACGM guy that I have never seen on here before the last couple days" is though.
Please point out where I have called anyone names?
