I'd do that for Dubois, but we'd have to move significant cap space to make it work and after this deal I don't know if we'd have the assets to do that.

Other problem is Dubois obviously wants to play in Montreal and I'm not sure I want to sign up for that headache in 2 years...

Can't see Buffalo doing that for possibly 1yr of both players. Only goalie worth 13 would be Saros and he has a couple years on his deal, be different if Hellebuyck wasn't a FA in a year.

I would do that for PLD, but I'm a little confused as to why he'd be open to MN. We have 2 more years of dead cap and are essentially just treading water during that span. It's not a big city, weather isn't that different than WPG, it's not particularly close to his hometown, not perennial contenders.....what am I missing lol?

I know what Marek said, but I can't help but think it's some sort of a troll to either WPG , MN or both. It just doesn't make much sense to me.

edit - and anyone who's watched MN vs. WPG games over the last few years knows how much the teams despise each other. IMO it's been lowkey the most hated rivalry in the NHL in terms of players disliking the other team.
