Doesn't make much sense for Buffalo. Matthews would be an upgrade, but they'd be downgrading their defense significantly.

I think what people don’t realize is that if Matthews gets traded this season to anywhere, he’s not making it to UFA

It's notgood. Canucks need Miller more then Reilly and Reilly's contract is as bad (if not worse) then Millers

even with a contract extension in place that's still a horrible trade for the Sabres.
