Interesting, Id 100% take him in Toronto and play him over ZAR

Leafs management doesnt think that, so I'll trust their opinion on this one. I havent seen Minten play a full game before and only seen Knies about 5 full games. Only thing I know is that Kamloops is STACKED and I think he probably benefits from that a lot

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CheechYou</b></div><div>Disregarding this trade proposal itself, I think one point that no one's yet pointed out with regard to the Merkley trade to COL is that between Burns and now Merks getting traded, this likely signals that Erik Karlsson is to stay in San Jose (unless absolutely blown away by an offer a la 3 1st round picks and minimal retention).
If the plan was to trade Karlsson, they would've told that to Ryan and kept him and played him in EK65's spot.</div></div>
I wouldnt say the trading of Merkley is an indication of anything, he asked to be traded

Dubas isn't interested in trading a 1st and two prospects for a couple of rentals. If Horvat comes with an extension then maybe, but Meier would be a better fit on this team.</div></div>
Disagree, I think he very much would trade a late first, 1 promising looking prospect and 1 prospect who more than likely wont be an NHLer for a top 6 forward. Why wouldnt he? No brainer to me. Doesnt even have to lose their best prospect or meaningful roster players. Major upgrade to your scoring for the playoffs. Really hed be stupid not to at this price.

Jack Hughes MVP or Runner-Up
I’ll start with the could Hughes win it, the answer is no.
McDavid is dominating even for his own standards with the added goal scoring. Almost like he saw Matthews score 60 and wanted to prove to the world he could do it just as easily.
Could Hughes be runner up? Potentially. But there are a few guys who are in that ball park.
Pastrnak is leading a Bruins team that is on pace to break every NHL team record.
Tage Thompson could score 50 and lead Buffalo into their first playoff series in over 10 years.
Rantanen put the Avalanche on his back when guys like Mackinnon, landeskog, nichuskin all went down with injuries.
So he’s in the ballpark of runner up, but certainly not MVP and certainly not guarantee of runner up

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Viqsi</b></div><div>Your opinion is not a fact. Your desire is not a fact. Your "but I really really want it to be so" is not a fact. We've even had insider confirmation that Boone has no intention whatsoever of leaving, and it would be the height of stupidity to move him for anything that isn't overwhelmingly earthshakingly huge for this team. There has yet to be such an offer made and there likely never will be (the suggestion I generally make to Leafs fans is "start with a double-retained Tavares and add").
We have one of the most active GMs in the League; we know how this stuff goes. When we say Boone isn't available, it's not because we fans really really want to keep him. It's because we know our team, our GM, our players, and our organization. So quit trying to fansplain us into going for these sorts of crappy Random Grab Bag packages. He's not available for anything you're ever going to offer.</div></div>
See we agree, Jenner could be moved.
To be clear, I’m not saying at all the offer comes from Toronto. I’m simply saying (and yes it is a fact) Jarmo will listen to offers on Jenner. If the right deal comes along, it will be made. And Jenner can tell Jarmo his 8 teams he doesn’t want to go to at that point

No idea what you’re talking about with magic beans and prospect. I didn’t suggest a single player or prospect, I’m just telling you, and it’s a fact, so sorry if it upsets you that Jarmo is going to listen to offers on every single player, whether you like it or not. I know that Joe Fan with his jersey hanging up on the wall doesn’t want his favourite player to get traded, but again, if Jarmo feels like it’s going to improve the club today and in the long run, he’s going to make the move.
You need to listen to offers. There isn’t a single GM who isn’t going to at least listen to an offer. McDavid is the best player in the league and Ken Holland is still going to at the very least listen to an offer.
I’ll leave it there for this conversation. Have a goodie

More points in less games? he has 8 points... 7 Leafs defenceman have more points than him lol. Sorry hes just not going to get you a first from Toronto.
Hey maybe youre right though, maybe Walman with all of his experience, especially in the playoffs where he has played 1 game is what the Leafs need to put them over the edge
