Détails additionnels:
He made a nice pair with Jeff Petry in Montreal. I think Pittsburgh will trade POJ for bottom 6 help like a Yamamoto/Arvidsson and return another 2nd pick. That means Dumoulin walks in free agency. POJ out the door with Edmundson, Yamamoto/Arvidsson IN

Détails additionnels:
Arvidsson is worth a 2nd or 3rd. Pens need the bottom 6 help and Arvy can move up in the lineup. Pens are one of the few teams with the space and need. Just like the Kings got Arvy cheap, the Pens get Arvy cheaper. Dubas special.

Détails additionnels:
POJ is probably worth a late 1st or early 2nd. This puts the value in the middle. Kings need LHD. Kings get cap space to go after the rumoured Auston Matthews deal. They need to dump a bunch of money to sign him in 2024 to an extension. Villardi and/or Kaliyev will be tough to sign if Matthews gets between 13-15M AAV. I can see both going in a Matthews deal along with picks and another D.

Draft Gabriel Perreault. From Pronman's latest mock draft. The Penguins, if they keep this pick — which is by no means a guarantee — will likely be looking for a scoring winger or a useful defenseman to help the team in the next few years. Perreault, Zach Benson and Sandin Pellikka are all likely candidates. Perreault’s stock is at the highest currently among those three.

Ok. You sound like a jealous Devils fan. Eric Staal retires. The Cats need a 'new' old man at 4th line pivot. Carter probably waives to go to old man paradise. Knight value is at its lowest atm.

Jealous? I'm happy for the cats but lets focus on the fact that Knight is their only backup who is under contract and there are better options for bottom 6 vets in UFA who are cheaper

You don't agree that Bob is their starter? Both combine to make 15M AAV for the next 3 years. One has to go in a hard cap. It wont be Bob with a full NTC. Knight isnt going close to his draft value. You think a goalie with substance abuse issues is getting a 1st? LMAO Florida at best gets 2 2nds which is a big risk on the Pens part but they have to roll the dice especially when goalies are voodoo, it makes perfect sense to get Knight signed for 3 years in the Pens window and allows the Cats some cap flexibility.

I'd do that if I was Chevy.

Granlund can rebound and Ruuta can replace DeMelo who I'd trade for a nice return and then move Ruuta and Granlund at the following TDL.

Edit: Is that Kings trade part of a 3 way trade or something, why are they sending a 2nd, Arvidsson is the best player in the trade.

Hague is rounding into something. We’re 3 wins away from the cup, why blow thru picks and the only player we’ve drafted that’s contributing for a rental? Cause we are way more likely to resign Marshy and Stephenson than paying Guentzel

Trading for Guentzel would be Vegas MO

Any Wheeler trade will have to take bad money back so it seems pretty do-able with Granlund going the other way.

In no world is an inexperienced LhD with fewer than 100 NHL games under his belt and no hope of ever being a first-pairing defender worth more than a top-6 RW, even one on an expiring contract.

They're certainly not trading him for that absolute dogwater package.

They cant afford him next year. The fact the Vegas fan thinks its a horrible deal and now a Pens fan. That would indicate this is probably close. Try looking at the forward group for the next 2-3 years. This is certainly a lot better than having Carter, Heinen and Granlund in your bottom 6. Trading Guentzel is a means to an end. NOT THE END!

Arvidsson was had for little and he will return little. You are creating your own narrative this isnt POJ for Arvidsson. There are many more pieces to the puzzle which includes LAK creating 7M in cap space which is an asset, itself. Read the description.

You're going to lecture me on my team's needs when I've had season tickets for more than 25 years?!? You think that there are "many more pieces to the puzzle" that I don't understand infinitely better than you ever will?!?!? What a joke.

Settle down. You take things way too personally. Maybe, try to communicate better next time instead of attacking then expecting an olive branch. Ok, supreme leader?

They can absolutely afford him next year. The cap is going up by about a million for next season, the following year the cap will jump close to 5M due to the players having paid back escrow. You have no idea what you're talking about.

They did trade him. Most do agree, it was as you so eloquently put it. Dog water. But I do believe it’s two words, not one! I don’t know I haven’t ever drank out of a dog’s bowl. But I will take your word(s) for it.

You folks ended paying Hanifin and Hertl. Money was never an issue. Vegas going to Vegas. You were correct they didn't need to trade Hague YET. They found out that most clubs still dont understand or are unwilling to manipulate and use LTIR. Doubtful that they can resign Stephenson and Marchy.

Marshy is 100% the priority. It won’t be impossible to bring back both but I think that mean LT has to make the cup run and we move Hill

My popcorn is ready. The league needs a villain. A taker on Hill will be difficult. They will have to give him away much like Fleury but Vegas seems not to care about anything other than business. It should not be impossible, correct.
