How good would Marner be if he had Hartman as his center? Not to mention KK97 is alittle cheaper and locked up for a couple more year longer then Marner. Krill makes everyone around him better there is a reason Sam Steel had a career year while centering him for 2 months and also the reason Hartman has been so good and set career highs. Marner is a great player but is he good enough to have the impact that Krill has on the Wild? Probably not which is why the Wild would decline and which is the reason you want to trade for him.

Marner 7th highest paid player......12th in points in points per game. Kaprivov...24 highest paid player, 19th in points per game. Cheaper by 2m and a year longer term.
