Why are fans so gullible? What a GM, executive, player, coach says in public......meaningless.

Can people stop posting this Murray + 1st round pick to a team for a 2nd round pick, especially to Chicago. It’s not going to happen. Leafs will either buy him out or send him to LTIR for the year. They’re not giving up a 1st in a deep draft just to rid themselves of a couple million bucks on the cap

Minnesota isn't giving up a big body top 4d for your 2024 1st round pick and injured probe 3 years in a row with massive injury prospect winger whose not needed. Minnesota isn't your team to retain on anything

If he's healthy they're probably trading him. You think this team wants dead cap? They can't just "Send him to LTIR for the year" he has to actually be injured.

He’s had a history of injuries and Frank Servalli even speculated that he ends up on LTIR. Even if he doesn’t, it’s $667k in year 1 and $2m in year 2 for a buyout. It’s smarter to do that that give up a 1st round pick when they’re prospect pool is lacking and they’re low on picks over the next few years. You move that 1st just to dump a little bit of cap space and you could be damaging this team for years to come, all for nothing.

$2M in year 2 in one of the deepest UFA classes since who knows when, I don't think that's ideal.

You may think it’s deep now but how often do big names go to free agency? They usually re-sign. & their prospect pool is more of a need than another big free agent signing when they might be entering a rebuild by then
