I didn’t even see the TK trade. I like the two 1st round picks but they are both next year and will both be late so I would think someone outbids that offer with a mid 2023 1st

Not bad for WPG. I would rather the 2nd round pick be a 3rd or later. A 3rd and a 4th or 5th would be ideal. Brodie is a good role model and still has a couple years in him.

Robertson simply isn’t valued that way anymore. He can full well score 25 goals next year. It’s just very risky. But you aren’t gonna get a first for him. A second and Robertson is fair. Shouldn’t even be Robertson it should be someone with less upside.

Fair enough… your also getting Minten who i understand doesn’t really have value yet. So that’s probably Torontos best offer. But would you guys really be getting 2 first for him? 2 firsts are not tossed around like nothing. A lot of bigger guys bring traded now are for 1 first, Good prospect and a good young player.

leafs would just hold on to him at that cost. Brodie still is very serviceable.

Jarnkrok/Bunting swapped with Knies/Compher is an upgrade. Bottom 6 offence stays the same with the aspect of players more likely to succeed in the playoffs, with an actual crash and bang third line. i’ll take that trade off for a much better D core any day.

Now that you said that i actually think if a first went to Colorado and a second or second/third to Toronto it would make more sense and work for both teams. Toews might have the higher value so a first would go their way however Toronto probably want to move their first into 2 seconds anyways to regain assets. Would you think that would be fair?

Nylander is a lot better than Konecny, the offence is worse and the defence not that much better.

Ur in this thread telling everyone they are wrong lol. Robertson isn’t valued because he has nothing special about him other than 1 solid OHL season. Ur telling me a guy who averages 1 goal every 10 games and 1 point every 4.5 games in the NHL is going to magically score 25 goals next year? The Flyers have plenty of prospects doing more than that in the NHL and the AHL. He is worth very little until he actually wows in the some aspect. Flyers can just hold Laughton until someone gets desperate at a deadline and moves him for a 1st. Ur not getting Laughton for scraps.

TK will be one of the best wingers on the market if he is made available because he’s coming off a career year and has a super affordable contract that has 2 years left on it. I don’t think the offer is bad for TK but it’s two late round 1sts in a draft not as strong as this year and a decent prospect. Detroit fans have been offering 2023 17OA, mid 2023 2nd, and Zadina for TK. I’d much rather have that deal than the deal being offered here. The 17OA holds much more weight.

That's probably fair value for Jarnkrok, but it won't be Columbus adding him. He doesn't bring anything they don't already have in house.
