As much as I like Wahlstrom as a player, Buffalo doesn’t have any room for him. Not to mention with his injury history who knows what kind of player you are getting?

The Sabres intend to use Greenway in their top 9 and also have to keep a spot for either Kulich or Savoie to make the roster - even if they deal Mittelstadt (which seems like zero possibility, based on his finish to the season and the way Adams and Granato spoke about him), they aren't going to complicate the roster congestion by bringing in another forward from the outside IMO.
