The plan there is after they get him they flip him at the TDL and get assets back

For Nylander at 3mill they can easily get more than ROR or Bertuzzi

So in the end they would have

2 prospects, young RD with RFA control, Couple of picks for Keller thats not bad

As if we look at Arizona's timeline to compete 2026 is probs best as they dont got a lot to show rn

I think Keller should be one of the top targets for the leafs, prefer Marner traded to get the assets to give Arizona for Keller. Basically a 3 team trade.
Leafs wouldn’t move knies, they need the cheap production, but Marner for prospects and picks and then flip a lot of that to Arizona? I like it.

Arizona aint taking Marner lets be real. That contract is not something they want to deal with as they are a team who doesnt have as much money as MLSE

Leafs could use the player and contract, but they need to keep working, they’re going to get bullied at some point in the playoffs til they change out some guys. They need some skilled grit making some money mixed in. They can win a variety of series’s. But don’t believe they can win a physical one and not sure their goalie can steal one.

Read what I said again man. Marner to team X for prospects/picks. Use those assets to trade for Keller. There’s no reason Arizona would want Marner.
