Quoting: Jco5ta5
1) 5 years for Domi is too long
2) 3 years for AA is too long
3) We do not need Craig Smith
4) We do not need Grzelcyk or Graves given all of our LD log jam
5) We do not need Ned
Domi I am perfectly fine without. I would much rather give Drouin a 1 year at 5 deal then be on Domi for 5.
AA should be a year tops....even if you have to go 3.5 or 4 (which still makes him flipable at the TDL)
Agree....play a AHL kid before Craig Smith
I would pass on Grzelak unless he is coming with picks...I sure ain't paying anything much less a 2nd for him.
I could live with Graves as despite all the LHD options, most are suspects until they prove otherwise and we won't get clarity until this season at the earliest on what any of those guys are at the NHL level. Let Graves be the top pairing LHD until one of those prospects actually take the spot away from him in a year or two (fingers crossed hopefully). If grabbing Graves means we move Caleb Jones RFA rights, that would be a nice side perk. Graves as #1 LHD, Tinordi as #7 D and rotate kids through the #2 & #3 LHD in hopes one can push Graves down to middle pairing in a year or two.
Agree on Ned for the same reason we don't need Smith...plenty of our own 4th liners.
