While the value is fair. The depth chart for the Jackets isn't. They'll get a center with 3rd. Nylander "can" play center. But there is a high chance he walks anyways.

No way in hell is Columbus trading 3rd overall in a draft with 4 elite center prospects for a winger with a year left on its deal, makes no sense for the team. They have too many winger prospects and zero center prospects.

If it’s 22nd overall and Nylander extends, you’re likely on to something, but not 3rd overall.
