"Massive Overpay"- maybe a difference of 200K. Whatever man. Maybe we can get more for DeBrusk, maybe we won't get as much for Ullmark. It evens out- the whole principle is a projection of what the Bruins roster will look like next year, and I think it could look something like this.

Frederic is more in the $2-2.5M AAV range and that might be generous as he couldn't carry his regular season momentum into the postseason. No way does he $3M+ on his next deal as an RFA unless he's offer sheeted. ~$800k - $1.5M in savings

Lauko another RFA... should be closer to $950k ~$550k in savings

Foligno not worth more than vet minimum at this point give the younger guys a chance to play on the 4th line ~$550k in savings

Hathaway is a valuable 4th liner but like Acciari and Lazar before him, someone is likely to pay him more. I don't think Bruins would extend beyond $1.5M for him and they have younger/cheaper options in the system they should probably give a look to ~$400k - $1M in savings

Don't see Vrana/Roy as a fit for the Bruins would rather use the money saved to bring back one of Bertuzzi/Orlov and go younger in the bottom 6
