Description

I know Chicago still needs to be rebuilding for a while but they can't let Bedard rot with nobody interesting to play with. These two players can be acquired for cheap because of their cap hit (doesn't matter for Chicago) and would be great bets to revitalize their careers on a new team with a young, elite centre.

Right idea, wrong approach. Hawks aren't going to trade away 2nd's for guys to play w/ Bedard. Hawks will target a couple of UFA forwards and pay them higher than market value. Guys like Domi, Bunting, Killorn, Haula, Tatar, Nyquist... Hawks can always put Reichel together w/ Bedard as well.

If there was no other way to shed salary I'd do that from a Canucks POV but Im pretty confident we can move Myers or someone else. Even OEL buyout is in play.

Canucks decline. If that's all we can get for Boeser than we'll just keep him and move someone else. I don't think management is looking to move him anymore anyways after the way his play improved under Tocchet.
