I think that Chicago will take some convincing to relieve NY of Bailey's contract. And the Islanders can't really afford to give up this year's second or the 2024 pick, either, and don't have any thirds until 2025, too.

The thing about possible cap dump acquisitions is, if the other team doesn't actually consider them a cap dump, that is fine. The other team doesn't actually want them, the receiving team just want to be compensated for helping other teams out of their cap troubles. CHI declines.
