Jarnkrok isn’t to blame but he didn’t do anything to help in the playoffs and I don’t feel like he fits a good bottom six role in the playoffs.

LA can make it work especially with taking 8mil of cap from there roster with vilardi and arvidson

Calgary can afford it too they have contracts coming off the books.

Matthews is going to sign with whoever he wants next summer. If he isn't planning on signing in LA, then it would be pretty stupid for the Kings to give up a haul like that for one year of his services.

Likewise 1 extra year of Matthews isn't worth all of that.

I’d prefer TOR take Tanev over Toffoli, but like you said above, CGY would need to shed contracts to complete a deal, so as long as we’re going Younger, like Nylander or Reinhart, we’d be okay to part with Toffoli to make it happen
