As a Wings fan I don't really want Debrincat, don't think he fits into what we are trying to build. Surely we would take him for free, but then there's also the matter of overpaying him. I think that's fair. Trading fair value for a player and giving up pieces you don't want to give up often only line up if you really want the player.

Is Matthew Wood really comparable to Tage Thompson ? I think Wood can also be compared to Alex Tuch because he has similar stats. What do you think ?

I think he's too soft to be like Tuch, and not skilled enough to be Thompson.

I would say he's more like Pacioretty, but with 25 goals seasons. Big streaky player not using his size enough.
