I'd take Martin for a 6th from a Detroit perspective

Take out the 5th going back to the Isles and the Hawks probably accept. If the Isles want something back, Hawks have a few lesser prospects they can choose from

Skarek is absolutely not a viable alternative to be the #2 goalie next year. I don't know if he's good enough even to be the #2 goalie in Bridgeport next year. Three years of sub 0.900 save percentages in the AHL is not someone you want to count on for any games in the NHL.

But even if the 5th was in it....not a huge deal, right? Minor tweaks

Even if we traded for Martin he'd just ask Yzerman to trade him back to the Isles. LOL

If Max Domi signs another 1 year, I think Chicago would give him at least 4m assuming they dont take 3 forward contract dumps. But i'd guess he is looking for a longer term deal, hes certainly earned it.
