Why would Anaheim make that trade?

I know you’re obviously not trading him to Arizona as stated, but as a general value sense I think Addison is a bit pigeonholed into 2nd pairing and top PP at best. Those kind of guys can develop, you don’t need to look much further than hronek’s progress and trade this year, but I don’t think Minnesota has the ability to showcase him in that way, so he won’t return that kind of package.

Think I would just prefer to keep Raddysh tbh and if a good offer comes at TDL then we can look at it.

Just seems like a lot of quantity in players we already have and the conditional 2nd isn't that great tbh.

LaCombe and Merrill are both LhDs, so why would we trade our 22-year-old projected #2LhD under team control for the next SEVEN seasons for a 31-year-old bottom-pairing veteran whose contract expires just when we expect to be contending for the playoffs again? That's more than a downgrade, that's self-inflicted harm.
