Jackets pass, I think the goalie issues in Columbus were organizational (and possibly some personal for Elvis, who went trough a lot and imo deserves another chance), so they probably run it back with Elvis and Tarasov next year.

Tarasov had a rough year in a small sample size, but looked fantastic last year (in a smaller sample size). CBJ aren't ready to give up on him yet, especially when Blackwood isn't a clear upgrade.

I think there would be a gap between Graves and Severson next contracts.

Severson: 6-7 years x $6m to $6.5m
Graves: 4-5 years x $4.5m to $5m

I don't know who Tarasov is. Is he a big prospect?

Columbus’s top goalie prospect, though I wouldn’t necessarily call him a top goalie prospect in the sport, he is NHL-ready and lost most of this past year to injury (like the rest of the organization, basically). He’s also the player you included in the Columbus trade, so I’m not just naming a random guy.
