I don't think that a crummy dart throw is sufficient compensation for taking two entire seasons of an almost $6 million cap hit (and almost $10 million in actual cash) off your hands.

Granlund is trash, And Pickering+14OA pick isn't enough for an extended Connor Hellebuyck. Plus why would he want to commit long term with a team that has one of the oldest cores in the league?

Granlund isn't trash. He has good numbers. He just isn't worth 5MM a year. He wouldn't get any hate if he was making 2.5 or 3MM per.
