KAM is getting more than $3.5 easily. $4m would be well-worth the offersheet at a minimum to many teams.

If you look at the production of Mika, Kreider, and Chytil on the last year of their ELC...and then look at the bridge #'s they signed for...LaF should get a 2 year deal around 2.5M per
As far as KAM....any reason to give him more than Lindgren is getting on his 2nd contract? Of course- for a 2 or 3 year deal.

And unless we hear about negotiations getting sticky between Drury and the agents of Miller and LaF...I wouldn't worry about an offer sheet to either. I don't think either guy WANTS to leave, and offer sheets are bad business between GM's- so they are few enough and far enough between.

if either signs a long term deal you could see a much bigger number...but it's probably neither the team's best interest (given the cap construction) nor the players' best interest to sign- say a 5 or 6 year deal at 5ish....LaF is arguably developing slower than expected- but he still has the skill set and pedigree to break out- and he is no bust...an NHL player for sure. And Miller (as raw as he still really is) is a top 4 Dman- with all the tools to become an All Star. I'd think both guys wouldn't mind betting on themselves to cash in on a BIG 8 year deal, two or 3 years from now.

On Patrick Kane, if he really likes the organization he might sign a team friendly deal. The thing is he's really close to breaking Chicago records and they have tons of cap space so I can totally see him returning this off-season.
