Lindholm is more of a 2C and Hanafin is a LD. Given that Huberdeau right now has whats probably the worst contract in the league, I'd 100% do this from a CGY perspective. NJ would be the ones to decline this deal.

Yeah Hanifin is a LD for some reason I thought it was Weegar (who is better than Hanifin) being traded in this post. Lindholm is a number 1 center, one of the best 2 way centers in the game, runner up for the Selke in 2022 and really if not for the eastern media bias should have won it. If Lindholm is just a 2C then so are Bergeron and Barkov (hint, they aren't).

And yes I know Weegar has played LD more than RD the last few years. He can play either side but since he's a right shot I consider RD his proper place and IMO he's slightly better on the right than on the left too.

Hanifin I consider him a very good 2nd pair / fringe 1st pair defenseman.
