  1. Blackwood, Mackenzie [Droits de RFA]
  2. Foote, Nolan
  3. Marino, John
Détails additionnels:
I am guessing on a couple of teams here.

VAN: There was some talk about Demko being available at deadline. Not sure what the ask would ultimately look like for any team, but I imagine, in addition to Marino, Blackwood or Daws would be possible pieces along with prospect or pick.
2.
NJD
    Swayman?
    BOS
BOS - I have seen his name bounced around, but no idea what their plans are going forward. He has RFA deal to sign this summer. And no idea what their needs would be.
      3.
      NJD
        Markstrom, Vladar or Wolf…
        CGY
CGY - would be wide range of returns depending on which netminder. Not sure they need another defensive RD, but sounds like they may have goalies available.
          4.
          NJD
            Gustavsson
            MIN
MIN - Wild have some cap constraints and a goalie in Gustavsson would may be pricing himself out of the picture (RFA this summer). MAF has another year and Wallstedt may be ready. If they are looking to replace Dumba from outside organization, could be match here.
              5.
              NJD
                Gibson or Dostal
                ANA
ANA - Ducks are in similar position as Calgary. A veteran on long-term deal and a top prospect in the wings. But with Stolarz as UFA, maybe they just roll with those two. Marino would be good compliment to some of their young, offensive dmen.

Probs wont happen but would u be interested in Samsonov (Feel Toronto would probs choose extension but who knows)

As while Murray/Woll is risky a Dcore of

                  Rielly-Marino
                  McCabe-Brodie
                  Gio-Liligren

Would keep them pretty secure. Meanwhile NJ gets the WSH duo

Not a bad idea. Also have Petruzzelli coming alone too.

And would be interesting if we ended up with Vanecek/Samsonov, old Caps duo. And Siegenthaler (would have to squeeze Fehervary out of them next).

I'm very happy with his play, he's been excellent this year (except for his boneheaded mistakes which are awful when they happen), but he's played much more sheltered minutes than marino, who I'd say is better and I'm not also paying Damon 1.5 mill more

Last season the Canucks valued Marino at Rathbone and a 2nd round pick. I'm confident that they value Demko like 5 times more

Young good goalies arguably are worth more than RD rn. As look at the scarcity of good young goalies there value has never been higher. As they almost never become available and when they do their numbers often are pretty bad.

If Toronto decides Murray/Woll then Sammy is gonna generate a lot of interest and being an RFA is gonna bring the value up along with his good numbers of course. As 40 gp with a 0.915 and 2.41GAA aint bad considering league avg is 0.904 and 3.00gaa

Probs would be very close to a one for one if not both teams exchanging picks.

Delusional how? Foote is a bottom 6 forward. Backup goalie, and a player they could have traded for last season for their #1 goalie? Who is delusional here?

Your goalie has a -14 GSAx. he does that again next year and he's in cap dump territory. Thinking you get Mercer, let alone marino AND more on top of that is straight up delusional

Both Bratt and Meier will be in Fiala-to-Forsberg range.

What do you think Demko, following an 0.894 season, costs?

Not enough to justify them trading him this offseason. It makes no sense to. They have 0 incentive to trade him. HIs contract still has several years left. He has not requested a trade, and the team wants to compete now meaning they need Demko. Canucks were in the conversation for Bedard until Demko returned from injury and made them a top team in the NHL after the deadline

Not a bad idea. Also have Petruzzelli coming alone too.

And would be interesting if we ended up with Vanecek/Samsonov, old Caps duo. And Siegenthaler (would have to squeeze Fehervary out of them next).

After Woll I dont know whose the next man. He had his moment but has been meh, McKay has not been great but its his first year in a new league so hes getting a break, Cavelin has impressed but its the ECHL, and idk if Hildety played in AHL yet.

Its anyone's guess whose the next guy rn after Woll. Mines Peska but who knows

                  C’mon

Nemec is not available. No teams would even ask.
Holtz very, very unlikely to be available

A “Raty-like” prospect is Foote, Clarke
The other prospect could be Daws
And take any pick (the 2024 1st should be available).

Foote is not a Raty level prospect. Foote is 2 years older. Daws is not appealing at all either. Canucks have Silovs as their backup plan IF they move Demko. This is not an incentive

Your goalie has a -14 GSAx. he does that again next year and he's in cap dump territory. Thinking you get Mercer, let alone marino AND more on top of that is straight up delusional

And you're delusional if you think the Canucks are going to trade Demko. Give me one good reason why they'd trade him? Who cares what his value is to YOU. The thing is the Canucks were not interested in starting the conversation in the first place. Management is stubborn and insists on competing which keeps Demko's name out of any trade talks unless it is for an obscure overpay. Doesn't mean he is worth that much, that is just how stubborn the Canucks are about him and the core players

I'm very happy with his play, he's been excellent this year (except for his boneheaded mistakes which are awful when they happen), but he's played much more sheltered minutes than marino, who I'd say is better and I'm not also paying Damon 1.5 mill more

He hasn't really played more sheltered minutes though. Unless you mean by getting fewer minutes on PK, but even there his GA/60 is better than Marino's.

I was offering Marino + Blackwood or Daws + prospect or pick in this scenario.

Demko is NEGATIVE 14 GSAx this year. 1 more year like this and he's a cap dump (see: Matt Murray). He does not have superstar value

Demko had a bad start to the season. Since returning from injury, he has played really well. Vancouver won't move him unless the offer is an overpayment. He has superstar value to the Canucks.

Hmmm interesting but I dont think Sammy would cost that much wink

Probs would just need to be situated around Marino but if Dubas likes Blackwood could see something interesting at the draft (IF he decides to move on from Sammy)

Delusional how? Foote is a bottom 6 forward. Backup goalie, and a player they could have traded for last season for their #1 goalie? Who is delusional here?

Foote this year in AHL: 0.65 ppg (0.37 ppg in NHL over career)
Raty this year in AHL: 0.53 ppg (0.20 ppg in NHL over career)
Podkolzin this year in AHL: 0.64 ppg (0.28 ppg in NHL over career)

                  Blackwood this year: 3.10 GAA, 0.895 Sv% (2.96, 0.906 over NHL career)
                  Demko this year: 3.37 GAA, 0.894 Sv% (2.93, 0.909 over NHL career)

First of all, Foote is 22. Sure Podkolzin is a comparable but Pods at least had 14 goals in his rookie season. Foote is 2 years older than Raty though so it makes for a not very good comparison. Blackwood has been better this year sure, but it doesn't take a genius to see that injured Demko was pretty bad. Also GAA and Sv% are hardly goaltender stats. But Blackwood behind the Canucks AHL defense and I'd be surprised if he even scratched 0.800.

To your last point, the Canucks offered Rathbone and a 2nd but they didn't want to go anymore. Could have outbid Ty Smith and a 3rd but they weren't willing to do it.

Foote is a prospect and there is no room for him in 2022-23 unless there is an injury or we are willing to pass someone through waivers.
Demko is better than Blackwood...I was more showing that Demko isn't begging for 100 cents on the dollar right now (like, "he looks as bad a Blackwood").

I do not think Marino + Blackwood or Daws + Prospect is a "delusional offer" (especially when one is straight-face defending Nemec+Holtz+1st)

We no longer have our 2023 1st, but the rest doesn’t sound hard to come up with.

Canucks probably ask for Nemec as the blue chip, but since he’s likely untouchable they would potentially settle for Holtz. Not sure who the Raty-level prospect would be, but ideally a dman or C. Canucks may want a slight add as well since the 1st would be 2024

Tell me where in any of my comments I said you should give up the moon for him. You're telling me to keep him which is literally what I have been saying this entire time. That is what the Canucks want to do. The Canucks are not interested in trading him. This is a Devils ACGM trading for Demko, it is not a Canucks ACGM trading him away. Once again, your lack of reading comphrension baffles me. Like seriously, do you even read any of my comments? It seems to me you didn't even READ the comment that you replied to.
