Rangers are not trading Lindgren, but in the extremely unlikely scenario that they did, it certainly wouldn't be a team in the Metro.

I know NYR love to sign declining stars but I do believe they stay away from Kane, possibly Vlady too (depends what he asks for I guess) so that is a no

I think if the Isles make a trade like that for a young defenseman, it will be an RD to replace Mayfield, not another LD where they have some decent depth already (Pelech, Romanov, Aho, Bolduc, Salo, Wotherspoon)
