I would take that deal for DeBrincat if I was the Sens. It just frees up so much needed cap. Doubt if Gibson waives, and there are lots of UFAs to fill the need in net. Maybe a 4.3m offer sheet to Swayman for a second rounder might be out of Bruins cap to keep him.

Dallas can't afford Debrincat unless they manage to dump Benn/Seguin contracts. Currently they've got ~$8M in cap space...probably not even enough for Debrincat alone, but also still needing to sign 3-4 more guys.

Unless Ottawa is taking back $7M+ in cap, Dallas isn't going to be able to afford to make this kind of deal.
