Description
1. Carter Hart is on the block for the Flyers to help start a rebuild and the Canadiens could use a future goaltender.

2. PLD is most likely coming to Montreal and may not want to sign with the Jets. I'm not sure how much it'll take to get him so this trade could be awful I have no clue.

3. This is assuming the Caps wanna keep trying to contend for playoffs and want to build a team to help Ovi break the goal record. McMicheal's already 22 and doesn't really fit in with this plan, and a 2025 first could help them start up a potential rebuild.

4. This is if the leafs wanna dump Murray's contract which I've heard might be the case. Gives them a solid backup as well unless they make Woll their backup.

5. Reunites Suzuki brothers and takes a chance on Puljujarvi who hasn't done jack **** since being traded to the Canes.

No one is giving up 2 1sts and a 2nd for Carter Hart.

Dont know what that PLD deal is supposed to look like. It seems so pointless to trade anything for a guy that will walk in a year. Winnipeg would never accept this deal.

McMichael isnt worth a 1st and a top4 RHD. He doesnt have the upside any longer to be much more than Owen Beck, Riley Kidney. He isnt needed

Suzuki and Pool Party are two busts. They are almost worthless. Habs keep their pick and Pitlicks.

If Toronto wants to dump that Murray contract, theyd have to pay a 1st. Dont need to add Montembault for a 3rd

Not sure how you have Allen, Hart and Murray all on the team at the same time unless you expect Murray to be injured in a matter of time which makes a lot of sense.

Petr Mrazek, a goalie who is significantly worse and has much more term than Murray, cost the Leafs 13 draft spots. Matt Murray, a decent goalie who has 1 year left, will not cost a 1st to dump, and if he does the Leafs are going to be getting assets back as well. The funniest part of all of this Matt Murray speculation is that he has already been dumped, and it only cost a 3rd and a 7th to do so despite putting up worse results at the time. Why on earth would it suddenly cost more to move Murray despite his better play? This rhetoric that Murray is going to cost a ton to move is laughable.

Every team except for Washington swiftly declines. Caps could consider a move like that depending on pick conditions IMO

If that’s what you’re offering then the Jets would end up just trading him to a contender as a one year rental.

So you're plan is to make Montreal's goaltending more expensive while dumping high value picks and making it marginally better?
Signing Caufield to a bigger contract than what 41 back to back Jason Robertson signed.
Trade away our best natural right defender for at best a middle six complementary player to be in a couple of years.
Rem Pitlick for Ryan Suzuki, really?

Value is fine for WSH but I don't think the fit is there. Savard is a fine player but they're set on RD now. Same with getting the 25 first back, probably ok value wise but if they were to move McMichael I think it would be in a package for a higher caliber player rather than a pick, otherwise a young guy on an ELC is more helpful to win now

I agree that the proposed trade for Hart is a lot but I think for the Flyers to really consider moving him it's going to be an offer like that to get them even thinking. Even heading into a rebuild he still fits the timeline unless he clearly states he wants out or doesn't want to be a part of the rebuild I can't see him being moved unless it's an overpay.
