Description
Terry asks for a trade. Comtois isn’t tendered. Ducks draft Michkov, who’s great but won’t be around for a few years. And Verbeek goes with a similar strategy of this past offseason, add an older 2nd liner, older 3rd liner, and take a couple gambles on D with hopes they are tradable at the deadline. Another top 5 pick next season.

You’re not getting that much for Troy Terry. He’s a good player, but that’s a top 10 pick and a high second rounder in a very deep draft. It’s far more likely you get both Buffalo’s high second round picks with Olofsson, they keep the first.

Then find another sucker who will give you a top 10 pick because Buffalo isn’t it. The pick alone is worth more than he is. He’s about to be a $6 million man. Anaheim has already squandered his value years.

It’s not top 10 right now and there’s a good chance they pass WSH too. And that 2nd will be mid at best next season.

OK, I misread the year on the second rounder. But Ottawa and Detroit should both be passing Buffalo in the standings before the end of this season, unless Devon Levi plays most of the rest of the games and is incredible doing it. That would put their pick in the top 10.

Anyone who has watched 5 minutes of Terry knows hes worth a first. Maybe not a top 10, but if its ends up at 12th and the first 11 picks are 10 forwards and the best RHD in the draft, its a very good deal for BUF

I literally said "if the first 11 picks are 10 forwards and the best RHD in the draft" (meaning if he were taken with one of the first 11 picks.
