Gaudreau, Laine, Marchenko, Johnson, Chinkahov and Texier are likely who they're going with for top 9 wingers next year. Could be Boone on the wing too if they bring in Hayes as rumoured and get Bedard or Fantilli in the draft. Like it or not they're not spending a 1st to bring in another winger to push one of their young guys that they're high on down the depth chart. That's going towards improving the defense if they don't use it to draft someone.

Those teams are giving up so much for those Flames players. They have one year of till they are UFAs.
