This Trade isn't practical for either Team

STL is entering a re-build and want Picks and/or Promising Cheap Young Prospects, not Toffoli

CGY can use Toffoli who is way out producing his Cap Hit for another Year and then Trade him for a 1st or Top Prospect this time next season if need be OR in the Off-Season/the Draft for an Upgrade

Barbashev is going to get $4-4.9mil/year, similar to Niederreiter, Lehkonen, Mikheyev and Coleman

I don't mind the idea of trading Toffoli for a good return but the Blues are the wrong team to target for that.

Yes because Meier is 5.5 years younger and is a great candidate to sign long-term and build around along with Kyrou and Thomas
